Victory Vision Publishing is not a “Traditional” Publisher, but we’re excited to say that we now have a relationship with a traditional publisher and we’re officially a talent scout for them.
A quick look around at our website and you’ll see that our business model is based around the self-publishing packages we put together for people.
However, even more than that, our business philosophy is to position our clients to
Yes. Making money on the book itself is a tertiary priority, you heard that right.
Why would we send you to a traditional publisher if it means we don’t get to work with you on a self-publishing package, and sacrifice the work and margin we get there? Because we figure if we get the right publishing situation for you, there will be future work and more referrals in it. If we don’t think you’re a good fit for traditional publishing, we’ll let you know.
Even if we send them over to our preferred publisher with a qualified recommendation, there’s no guarantee that they’ll do your book.
Traditional publishing might be the right solution for you, but self-publishing might be, too. Check out some of our other blogs on the pros and cons of traditional publishing.
Some publishers, including our preferred partner, expect not only a book proposal but eventually a finished, polished manuscript. That means editing and proofreading, which is one of the things that we do here at Victory Vision Publishing. So, if you’re already writing, putting a book proposal together, and you’re almost across the finish line, it’s time to start thinking about getting your work edited.
